Printing Options
In-House Printing
- 8.5×11 items (flyers) can be printed from any office printer. They can be single or double-sided and will have a white border.
- 11×17 items (posters) can be printed from any office printer. They can be single or double-sided and will have a white border.
- Oversized items can be printed on the plotter printer in the Architecture Lab for a small cost. They can be single-sided only and will need to be trimmed by hand. Plotter prints can be 36″ wide and as tall as needed.
Professional Printing
- Professionally printed items will not have a white border.
- Professionally printed items can be single-sided or double-sided and any size needed.
- We help select the printing option most appropriate for your project goals and budget.
- We work with the vendor to obtain quotes and invoices.
- We provide invoices to your department for payment.
- We create the artwork to ensure usability, legibility, compliance with brand standards.
- We send the artwork to the vendor.
- We review vendor proofs and provide them to you for final approval.
- We provide instructions for pickup when the items are ready, or addresses for shipment or delivery.
Posting on Campus
In Staff Areas
- There are no required stamps or size limits for posting in staff areas on campus.
- Please request permission from the appropriate parties before hanging items in buildings.
In Student Areas
- We partner with Student Organizations to provide on-campus posting information.
- Student Organizations provides a Posting Guide to show where flyers can be posted.
- Flyers are 8.5×11, and a 2″ white square must be left in the bottom right corner for an approval stamp.
- Posters are 11×17, and a 2″ white square must be left in the bottom right corner for an approval stamp.
- Flyers or posters must be taken by you to Student Organizations for an approval stamp before they can be posted.
- 50 posters maximum can be stamped for 30 days. After those expire, you can bring more to Student Organizations for approval.

Timeline
We need a minimum of two weeks‘ notice to schedule work. (Vendors may need advance notice for manufactured items. )
We cannot start until after we receive complete and final text and elements.
